Hi, I’m Alicia!
You may know me as Nail Girl AVL because, well, I'm an Asheville - raised girly girl who's obsessed with doing nails. I believe my nail art creatively expresses your story, so before we get started I feel it's only fair to tell you mine.
I went west to San Diego where I attended nail school and earned my license as a professional nail technician. Home is where the heart is, so I moved my family back to Asheville to raise them near loving grandparents and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I’m a mom of two boys who absolutely hung the moon, and married to my husband for 25 years and counting. I get a kick out of teasing him that the only relationship I’ve been in longer than ours is with nails!
I’m on my 30th year of nail artistry and honestly living my dream.
It’s a crazy, hectic world out there (trust me, as a working mom of two, I know!). When you sit in my chair, I want you to relax, pick a nail color or share your inspiration and let me take the wheel. Professional, hygienic, creative nail care and art is written into my very soul. It’s my favorite thing to do, and it’s an honor to do it for YOU!
My heart is in my work, my relationship with my clients, and literally in my home. I designed my own boutique nail salon right in the comfort of my home to create a space I felt would make my clients feel as special as they are to me. We all need a break from the hustle-and-bustle of life, and my cozy studio lets me focus my attention on connecting with clients and doing my job to the high standard I hold for myself and that they trust I will do.
Living out my passion is an incredible blessing and brings me so much joy! (That, and Disney World. I am an unapologetic Disney fanatic!)
Without my clients, living this dream wouldn’t be possible. From the classic to the avant garde, it’s my joy to paint your story on your hands for the world to see.
